Yogi Bhajan Remembrance Day

Siri Singh Sahib – Yogi Bhajan Remembrance Day & Akal Takhat Martyrdom Kirtan Program

On October 6 every year, we remember Yogi Bhajan, celebrate his life and offer our gratitude to his teachings.  On this day, we also observe the Akal Takhat Martyrdom Day.

Siri Singh Sahib Remembrance Day

Since 1984, The Guru Ram Das Ashram Community has commemorated the Akal Takhat Martyrdom of June 6, 1984 with a special Kirtan Program held on the 6th of every month.

Our prayer is for the world to be free of any attacks against any religious institution, Gurdwara, Church, Mosque or Temple.

The "Bring-A-Dish, Make-A-Wish" langar provided and served by community members is a community tradition begun by Yogi Bhajan as part of the Akal Takhat commemoration.

Our special evening Kirtan Program features guest or community ragis, followed by Samapti and Bring-A-Dish, Make-A-Wish Langar.

The details of Yogi Bhajan Remembrance Day are published in our community newsletter.  Click here to join our mailing list.
