Missal System
Most tasks necessary to maintain the Gurdwara are performed by volunteers organized into teams called missals. Opportunities to serve and meet other community members include:
- Langar preparation, serving and clean-up
- Reading during the late night hours of the Akhand Path
- Cleaning and maintaining Guru Ram Das Ashram and its property
The Missal system is also a great vehicle to quickly communicate with all members of the community.
Anyone who feels a connection to Guru Ram Das Ashram and wishes to be an active participant is welcome to join a missal. All it takes is to contact the Community Coordinator at (310) 201-0954 or coordinator@gururamdasashram.org.
